Woolpets 1101 ? Easy to follow step-by-step photo instructions provided in the Woolpets kits will guide you through the technique of needle felting. Most projects take less than two hours to complete. All you do is fluff the wool, roll it into shape and poke - the more you poke the denser the wool becomes. How does it work? Wool binds when heat and friction are applied. Woolpets provides a super cool way to learn the art of sculptural needle felting.

All kits include 2 new felting needles and include almost everything you need. You will need a foam pad or sponge to use as a work surface. We have two sizes of foam pads available in our shop that will last through many, many projects. Since each kit includes 2 sharp, barbed, felting needles we recommend them for ages 10 and up. Younger children have been very successful with needle felting but of course adult supervision is highly recommended for anyone under the age of 13.

What's included: red, black, blue, moss, yellow, and lime wool roving, two new felting needles, beads for eyes, detailed photo instructions and 4" x 4" x 1.5" foam pad.

You will need: Sewing needle and thread and a ruler.

MAKES HOW MANY: Kit makes 2.5" x 2.5" butterfly,3" x 3" dragonfly, 1-2" x 3" caterpillar .

Skill Level: STARTER kit and very easy!
